The fifth annual Virginia Wine Summit will take place May 16th at the Boar’s Head Inn in Charlottesville from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Seminars feature themes for both producers and trade licensees selling Virginia wine to the public, and speakers have members of both groups as well as the wine media.

Wine-specific themes include rose, petit verdot and viognier. Other themes include “philosophy of a wine list”, “competitive advantages of Virginia wine” and “defining local on the East Coast.”

The event is reportedly sold out. More information is available on http://www.virginiawinesummit.com/
