Horton Vineyards, the first winery in Virginia to plant and make a varietal Rkatsiteli, will host an International Rkatsiteli tastng Saturday 10/16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will start at 11 am tasting different Rkatsiteli wines from Virginia Vineyards, New York State including those from Dr. Konstantin Frank, and the Republic of Georgia where Rkatsiteli originated.

They are honored to have Ambassador David Bakeadze from the Georgian embassy speaking at the event, as well as Kirsty Harmon- winemaker of Blenhiem Vineyards, Rachel Stinson Vrooman- winemaker of Stinson Vineyards, vice president of Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery, Meaghan Frank (via zoom), and Caitlin Horton- winemaker of Horton Vineyards. This event will be coinciding with their Charcuterie Day Event so the Kaas & Cure Board Co.
