As part of the Tom-Tom festival, local winery Eastwood invites you to join them for an evening of wine tasting and discussion with five local makers and lovers of wine. Tastings will include wines from Joy Ting Wine, Grace Estate Winery and Eastwood Farm and Winery. Kitchen will be open and serving a full menu. Virginia is a hotbed for innovation in the wine industry. Athena Eastwood will moderate a panel discussion with Joy Ting (Research Enologist, The Winemaker’s Research Exchange), Noe Garcia Corona (Assistant Winegrower/Winemaker, Grace Estate Winery), Tasha Durrett (Founder & Owner, Black Women Who Wine, LLC), and Reggie Leonard (Co-Founder, Oenoverse and Associate Director, Career Development, UVA School of Data Science). The panelists will share their stories, discussing the increasing opportunities for involvement in the burgeoning Virginia Wine industry, and the importance of building our collective future in a diverse and inclusive way.
